Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Michael LaBella returns as one of Smash Factory Golf's Co-Owner/founder and Director. Before moving to back to Rochester Michael was at St. Davids Golf Club right outside Philadelphia where he was the Director of Junior Golf and was awarded the US Kids Golf Foundation Top 50 Instructor Honorable Mention Award in 2014. During the winter of 2013-14 Michael was given the opportunity to travel along the east coast, visiting some of the nation’s top golf instructors. While on his travels, he was given the privilege to learn from, critique and teach alongside Golf Digest Top Young Teacher, Top 50 USKG Instructor and GRAA Top 50 Growth of the game Teaching Professional Megan Padua and Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor Krista Dunton, as well as other notable instructors. Through his experiences Michael developed a teaching style that couples using Trackman technology (as seen on the PGA Tour) and a kinesthetic hands-on approach.
