In High School, it was my PGA Professional High School golf coach that inspired me to pursue golf. His faith, and his example as a role model is what got me to where I am today - now getting to be the coach and giving back to the community through the game. I enjoy teaching and empowering people to fulfill their golfing potential. With kids, it is rewarding to see them improve, but more importantly teaching them values through the game that they take on and off the golf course. I was never the best player growing up, but I worked hard and was persistent at the game, so that experience helps me relate to students that may not have the best talent or confidence in their ability to be the best they can be, and gives them hope that they can achieve their goals, whether it is breaking 100, 90, 80, or succeeding at a competitive level. I enjoy helping people and the process of learning from students - how they learn, what motivates them, and helping them discover their potential.
